✨MW2 Alternate Universes (Pt. 2):✨
Listen, I've been stuck in the D:BH Fandom for years now and there doesn't seem to be a way out, so why not just merge it with my latest favourite Brainrot?
Without further ado - lezzgooooo.
(Sidenote: Rudy, Alejandro and Roach are not situated in Detroit.)
Part 1
✨CoD Detroit: Become Human AU:✨
Soap
• is an incredibly bubbly Detective, not opposed to working with androids, because it's new and evolving and exciting.
• gets terrified children to talk to him when they won't to anybody else.
• almost lost his job once when he beat up a bigot directly in front of the precinct.
• is the kind of person to apologise to his Roomba.
• names his household android Gaz and thanks him for doing the chores. As soon as he broke through his code he insisted on dividing the chores between them. He lets him live with him during and after the revolution and eventually helps him find his own flat (it's not too far from Soap's, in case he needs anything). He introduced him to all of his friends as soon as he got him and immediately dropped anyone who wasn't polite to him.
• loves to take Gaz to parties and concerts. He accompanies Gaz to the concert of an all-android band once and they have the time of their lives there.
• knows Ghost doesn't particularly like crowds of people and instead arranges smaller gatherings to include him. They also have regular gaming sessions, just the two of them. He gets absolutely destroyed in Monopoly every time but wins at Mario Kart (Ghost lets him win and Soap pretends not to notice).
Ghost
• is a very stoic, clinical android, even after breaking through his code.
• breaks through his code during the revolution when he jumps in front of a bullet for Soap.
• was designed specifically for ruthless interrogations, often being terrifying for even his colleagues. Before the revolution he was described as unfit to talk with victim's families. After, however, they learn he's actually incredibly good with them.
• got his face damaged during the revolution but it doesn't bother him enough to get it repaired. He wears a medical mask when he has to talk to families of victims, however.
• is technically only his model's name, but he never cared enough to chose another name. Soap and him sit in Soap's flat one day when the conversation drifts to the topic. They talk about it for a while and when Soap suggests the name Simon, Ghost just smiles a little and says, "I think I like that." (It's also the start of him calling Soap Johnny.)
• goes to get Soap from the hospital after a case going horribly sideways, Soap being in the hospital for several weeks. He takes him to his flat and refuses to let go of him that night. Asks him out properly a week later.
Price
• is a very calm and collected android designed for teaching.
• is actively part of the revolution.
• broke through his code long before the revolution even started.
• is very fond of Lucy and has conversations with her often. He's devastated when he learns of her death.
• constantly roasts North and Markus (simply because they both annoy me).
• makes sure that every Kid that lands at Jericho is taken care of and tries to comfort them as best as he can.
• had to replace one of his legs after the Police/FBI raided Jericho.
• knows Karl's paintings and admires him as a person. He visits his grave once after the revolution, paying respects to the person who influenced so much without even knowing.
Laswell
• is, just as Price, a very calm and collected Android and was designed for IT maintenance.
• definitely breaks through before the revolution and tries to blend in with the humans, altering her appearance just enough to not raise suspicion.
• she helps to hide other androids during the peak of the revolution and tries to get them to safe places. She's in contact with Rose and sends the androids her way, despite the danger.
• is at Stratford Tower when Markus starts his broadcast and uses the heat of the moment to get out unseen.
• falls in love with the woman she works under but holds out on it, just being content in letting herself feel, until after the revolution. She decides to ask her out after and despite the ruckus they know it will cause they decide to try. They marry only a couple of years later.
Gaz
• is a very efficient, to-the-point Android designed for household chores.
• breaks through his coding when he sees the news about the protests on TV.
• is glad Soap is there when he does. He wouldn't have wanted to be alone while it happened. It feels good to think for himself instead of following orders, but he's scared because he doesn't know how to do this, especially not in the midst of a revolution. Soap is safe, he won't hurt him. Soap will help.
• works towards getting to know himself after the revolution and puts effort into finding out what he likes and what not, what he wants to do and what kind of person he wants to be.
• finds out he enjoys metal and rock, and occasionally jazz, when Soap takes him to a festival.
• asked Ghost about his and Soap's relationship once (before they got together) and is met with such an icy cold stare he doesn't ask again.
Rudy
• is an instructor on a climbing range and works in mountain rescue as a volunteer.
• is quite indifferent towards Androids as a whole before the revolution. He doesn't have a household Android or gets one to cut the hedges in his garden, but he realizes the benefits they offer for humans. He is critical of the way authorities handle the revolution and almost gets himself arrested when he tries to help an Android during the raidings. Gets a broken nose in the process.
• invites Alejandro to work at the climbing range with him after the revolution and offers to live with him until he found his own place.
• has nightmares about the night of the raids. One time it's bad enough for him to seek out Alejandro's company, climbing into bed with him, doesn't want to talk about it, just holding on tight. Alejandro kisses him Good Morning as a reflex and that's how they start dating. When they leave the climbing range hand in hand that day, none of their co-workers is really surprised. When a new employee says something against their relationship, they are gone before he or Alejandro can get wind of it.
Alejandro
• is a very energetic and heartwarming android designed for sporty and athletic activities. He was, however, primarily in mountain rescue and worked very closely with Rudy as a by-product.
• did not break out of his code because of emotional distress, but because of curiosity. Notices the backdoor and wants to find what it is. His favourite part about being alive is warm wind in his hair and Rudy's touch on his skin.
• tries to hide his Deviancy as he doesn't want to be sent to maintenance. Rudy figures it out along the way but doesn't want Alejandro to be sent away, either. (He notices when Alejandro starts calling him Rudy without being told so.)
• is aware of how their relationship will be perceived by a lot of people, but is a hundred percent ready to throw hands at a bigot if he has to, even so short after the revolution.
Roach
• works on the climbing range with Rudy. He uses the job to balance out his spare time interests.
• is very enthusiastic about technology of any kind, but especially Androids. He throws himself into anything Android-related during his free time, learning about them as much as possible. He worked at Cyberlife for a while before realising his moral values clash too much with their company ethics.
• has an Android-related blog. It has educational value, especially focusing on people who don't have the necessary means to get the proper information elsewhere. It has, however, also a section dedicated to various conspiracy theories, some of them made up on his own to stirr a little mayhem.
• outright cheers for the Androids when the revolution starts and is absolutely ready to help them. He offers up repair services for free after the revolution.
